trip to "canada" part 3

welcome people...to the 3rd part about canada...this time its mostly about fishing..

well today we planned to go to a lake called the ontario lake....they said they have a lot of carp there..we also saw alot of carp...each of them were atleast 1 and a half foot long..they are huge but gentle fish..they don;t like worms but they like sweet things..so we got some corn and my bro came up with a cunning plan..he planned to rub teh corn with a strawberry and dip it in some cinnamon...heh heh heh....the plan was that when teh corn was casted the sweet smelling of the cinnamon and the strawberry would spread in the water thus increasing the radius of the smell...carp have a vary good sense of smell...

once we reach there....a problem...TOO WINDY!!!!!....the waves would force the fish to submerge deeper into the water thus making them difficult to catch.....with the bad news we headed to a place..its a community center where they have their own lake..a small one..the fish there are well only one or two types..the most common are the catfish..these guys will eat just about anything..but they are about less than a hand size long...but well just for the fun of it we caught some...we were careful as to tug straght away when we get a bite..doing this we make sure that we get them by their mouth..you may think this is cruel but its doing them a great deal less of pain and damage....by tugging earlier they don't eat the whole thing..well think about it if the fish eats the whole thing and then we tug..it gets caught inside his stomach..yea....is that happens it usually means death....if its their mouth they heal faster.....well i got some pics of the action..and no fish died cause we took precaution as to not wait for too long..

well that was the first guy and he was one of the 10 we caught in one hr.

trip to "canada" part 2

yo yo...am back with more info on that place called canada!!
it ain't much..but eh..what teh hell!

ok now i will show you pictures near my house....heheh..be prepared! (by the way i took these pics..i'll prompt when it ain't me)

anyhow i was bored so i just took pics of everything that was near me.

it took a hell of a long time to build..but what teh hell!

i took mostly scenery and stuff..i was bored...then me and my bro went to the mall to grab a bite. on the the way i caught some cool sky shapes...well one only...we were on the turn. its cool though...something you don't see here cause of the buildings

anyhow when we reached i always have the traditional A&W burgers...tehy are amazing!!

well after hogging..or eating one burger..we left and it was dawn a great time to take to the sky

welcom to my trip of "canada" part 1

Ahh the first pictures of Canada.(or my backyard)

You'd expect a great sunny day with lots of sun and no clouds but no. all you see is dull and grey and rain in a couple of minutes.


see what i mean. IT s SUMMER!!!

not giving a crap about the weather we went to church (no pics.sorry church rules!) oh and by the way it has been 26 hrs since i have slept.
now church, teh mass was great until we come up to the sermon whic this time was not spoken by the priest instead by a man who has done a lot of work in builing an african foundation for teh poor. in his sermon he mentioned abt what they had done including how many farms they tried to produce and stuff , it was a good sermon until he started talking scientifically. for example he said how exactly the seed grows and into what form and timing and what not..he went on and on..any how we finished mass which took 1 and a half hr. ITS STILL RAINING!!!. we go towards dinner which was at eddies wok and roll..(details will be given in another post since we went again)
NEXT DAY:
today we tried to fix our basketball post and since my dad had work it was only me and my brother. its sunny i guess for now
work started in the garage but had to move outside to since it was too big.

after a lot of work we got a slight problem.on screw on the loose. we cannot find it. well there ends our for for today since we will go the next morning to get it

NEXT DAY:
we bought the part at the store only to come back home and finding the part we needed hidden int the metal spring.hahahhahahaARGG!#!@$#...moving work continued but this time my dad was there.yay an extra helping hand

the day continued adn building was going fine. we had almost finished it and then we had to put teh net so i had to put in down in the position you see above. the thing is the stand has wheels and while i was putting in down the whole thing slipped(there was water. DAMN RAIN!!) and the whole thing was balanced on my left shoulder for 10 secs!.i tried my best to keep it balanced since i didn't want the rim to break until my dad helped me. whew!

well then we finished and it was on to playing:

"i got the ball i am walking away with it"

weird position...i know...eheheh

ok well after all that playing teh day ended with some BBQ..i have no pics but i will write more on another post cause i gtg now

THE GAME OF MAD!!!!!

yeap there is a game called MAD...yeap..i am goona explaing how this game works...first to win the game you must LOSE your money...yeap LOSE your money. so basically you have to lose to win..any way the game is like monopoly meaning it has a jail where you gain money when yoiu land on it..not lose any..they have cards and stuff..but these cards are weird..they are not like where you won the lottery and collect money..nope..nothing like that..i'll give examples...one card- you must put this card on top of your head and walk backwards around the table if it does not fall lose 2000, if it does fall you lose nothing..no.2...you must cross your legs, sit on your hands and buckle like a chicken and lose 1000..no.3..if you can jump and stay midair for 37 secs lose 5000 if not jump and lose 500..these are only some of teh weird things..if you want an more just comment and i'll write another one.....
another place on the board in my favourite its called the "MUST GAMBLE"..its is where you must gamble all you money...you throw teh dice-it becomes an odd number you get twice as much money as you had...but if it is even you lose everthig but you get 1500...its a real game

My confirmation..

yup todays is the day i get confirmed as a Cristian...ah its kinda scary at first but then it has to happen wheather i like it or not...by the way my uncle got confirmed right before his wedding..the bishop shpould have given him a hard slap (no offence)..

anyhow the day started with school..as usuall school on a thursday is very boring because of the lack og studying periods.there is one good thing though, light bag hehehe.....anyway we had art, then uae. in uae she gave us our test results...i got 19/20 not to brag...well tehn we had english which was pretty good since we had some of the best actors in teh class(not me) do a play of shakespere called twelfth night.it was funny plus they went around the school in different classrooms to enact it...teh rest of the day went on boring as usually with history ending the day...

now confirmation
first of all, all the confirmants had to be in the hall by 5:30 (i don't know why, you'll find out later). i was there at 5:15...it i thought another 15 mins and then we start. i go inside and find only one guy, so i though maybe they will start at around 5:50 or 6:00...and well the people started coming and then everybody came but we still didn't start.....we did nothing for 1 hour..finally at 7:00 they start.

so then we had to get in a line with our girl partners (just to make sure where we sit, its not what you think)..anyway we moved in an orderly manner to the church..there, there were rows of people standing up..we walked to teh front and kneeled....and then the bishop came and gave speeches and teh n we had the first, second and Gospel reading..after that we had to walk up to teh bishop and say Amen and peace be with you......after that we did communing (can't spell)......
a shocking thing happened...a boy who was holding the bishop's stick froze and fainted..when he was picked up his hand was still in the air like he was still holding the stick..he was taken inside and a doctor was called....it didn't iteruppt much but i think it was big...

anyway after the announcment we went back into the big hall and they took our class pictures with teh bishop and then we were given certificates and a little food and a good present....i went home straight away because i was tired.

at home my relatives came from dubai and are staying for the day...my uncles favourite friend came over and they are gonna be talikng all night...so ireall want to sleep.....ight now i am writing this post and watching ghost rider...

sooo bye...

My (sort off) fun birthday.

Ahh birthdays...they are just the beginnig..the beginning of the END...muhahahahaha.....anyway on 12th may was my big day. what to do what to do...have a party nahhh, call friends for nahh (they probably seen them all). well all teh thinking stop when i found put i had a basketball match on my bday(birthday). so isaid it will be no use having to call someone over when i am half dead...oh well maybe next year..

Anyhow it was the big day. i get up EARLY for basketball and man do i feel like crap. anyhow turns up that teh match is at 9:00 and there is a bus going there at around 8:30.. so well i left at around 8:00, you never know maybe these guys leave early because they think they have got everybody, it has happened. oh well i reach there to find a friend of mine, ali from the 9th. he's is good basketball player but he is in the under 16 team..the matches consisted of two teams under 14 and under 16. how ironic that i am turning 14 the very same day ( i am in the under 14 by the way). anyhow a guy from my class came. he is 13 so he is under 14..well he is good basketball player..he better than me in some areas and i am better in some areas..for example i am good with rebounds and he is good for dribbling..anyhow he is only one that came from the under 14 team. me and him were kinda scared because well we didn't have anybody else. oh well we all got onto the bus. the rest of the guys were under 16. during the way we picked up another under 16 guy to form the correct team for the under 16..for us we didn't have anybody.

so were planning a strategy if we are able to play with 2 players. we thought if i would be at one half of the court and he be at teh other..we could score some points.. like i be defence and he be offence. it seemed useless to other guys.oh well we'll just have to see. our ride there was bumpy, the driver is toooooo rough. he makes sharp turns all the time. my friend could not drink his coke properly since all it was shaking all the time.

We reached school, in one piece.

On to the field with our chests pumped up with a little bit nervousness and some pride..well all that air blew out when we saw another 4 players who were gonna play with us. we were a hell of a lot relieved. anyhow the coach gave us tshirts to wear. they were ok as some of them had no numbers or some with scratched numbers, some even had the school name (shortform) TCHS on it and some didn't.

Anyhow we were briefed by our coach on that to play for fun. thats what i always say. By the our opponents are from a Qatari school, called Al Jazeera. well tehy lost badly in football the day before. with a crappy score. on the court they were all less that 5 foot 3 inchs tall. yes thats the tallest. nevertheless the game started with tehy getting the ball because our guy jumped too late. that wasn't much of a problem cause we stole th ball after 5 secs and scored.. the game ended 14-10 in our favour. i mostly rebounded in this game the othere guys scored. it didn't matter to me. atleast i did something.

the next game was the under 16s. we totally killed them wit a score of 27-0..yup one of the guys of the other side was complaning that our guys are so big. i told him that we are 11, 12, 13, 14, 15..thats it. he is saying that tehy are all 13 and under..whose fault is that.first of all they are teh ones that said under 16 and under 14. anyhow they played another game which was ok because the opponents called soem big guy who is 18+ to play the match. the score was like 18-14 in our favour. the game after that was our team. this time i told myself i ay rebounds.m not gonna do onl

the game started with we getting the ball i straight away pass it to a guy who is free. and then i ran in front, he missed and then i rebounded and scored and thus starting off the scoring. i ended up with 6 out of 16 points in the whole game. i became top scorer for that match. bu the way we have a guy from the 6th grade who is short as 4 feet 7 inchs playing with us. he is like a mini stealer.

after that we had a volley ball match which i didn't care that much but i do know that we won.

well after all that we all thank them for coming and THEY were given glass plaques even thou they lost totally in everything. then we shook hands and they went. after sometime we find out some guys mobile is stolen. no one knows where it is gone. we checked everybody's bag (except teh al jazeera) and no one stole it.. so we assume that the qatari's stole it. well they are gone back to qatar any way.

that evening me and my cousin watched a movie which my uncle bought tickets. it was my bday present. it was spiderman 3. not a bad movie but a crappy story and i am not the only critic.

anyhow thats how bday was...
it was a great day.
